Why a stand shows up "favorable" or not.

Every stand has an ideal wind range you set when you add it — the directions you can sit it without getting busted.

Favorable / perfect
The current or forecast wind direction falls inside that stand’s ideal range. Good to sit.
Marginal
The wind is close to the edge of the range — sit with care.
Bad
The wind would carry your scent the wrong way. Pick another stand.
TipThe ideal-wind range is the most important field on a stand. If you are unsure, start with a wider range and tighten it as you learn the spot.
