Movement chains and corridors
How the app describes where deer travel.
- Movement chain
- A sequence of cells a single buck travelled in one session, with entry and exit. Chains show you how a specific deer uses the ground.
- Corridor
- A travel route between bedding and feeding — confirmed, probable, or suspected. Corridors can be drawn by you or predicted by the engine (WisePass).
- Cold front
- A temperature drop of about 5°C or more between days. Cold fronts often trigger a burst of deer movement, especially in pre-rut.
